Dark digidestined chapter 2

The others crowded around Davis.
"Wake up Davis." shouted Ken.
"Wake up!"
"This is not possible. The digidestined are immune to the master's powers?" whispered Leomon. "I must report back. I'll tell him of the situation."
Leomon got up from his dazed state, Cody and Yolei stood up as well. But they thought Leomon would attack instead he turned around and disappeared in a ball of darkness. Yolei and Cody looked at each other and almost looked glad they didn't have to fight. A few more minutes pasted and Davis finally woke up.
"Hey sleeping beauty just woke up." said T.K.
"Don't I normally make the jokes?" replied Davis. He staggered to his feet. "O man what hit me?"
"We've been thinking the same thing." said Yolei.
"I don't know what happened. All I remember is Leomon grabbing me. After that I don't remember anything." said Davis.
"So you don't know anything about the events after that?" asked Cody.
"Nope." replied Davis.
T.K looked over to Kari. She stood in the middle of the park looking up at the sky. T.K knew the face that she was pulling.
"Ok what's up?" asked T.K
"It's just Lemon." she replied.
"Yeah same here. Why would he attack us?"
"I called his name and he told me how dare I say his name. He recognised us but had hatred in his eyes."
"He was our friend Kari. He said he would stand by us no matter what."
"So what did his 'master' do to change his mind and hate us so much?"

Digital world

"You come back with nothing!"
"Master I am sorry but circumstances have come across. The digidestined are protect by the light inside there digivices." Leomon knelt to the ground.
"This did not cross my mind. But there are others who are digidestined who have passed on the light?"
"You speak of the digidestined before these chosen ones master?"
"Yes I do."
"I have only seen one previous digidestined with them. I have no clue to where the others are."
"So then you only have one target Leomon."
"Yes master I will bring them back to you and I will not make the same mistake twice."
"Very well, you better not fail me again Leomon for this time if you fail, you will not have another chance to serve me."
"I understand master."

Human world

"Sorry I'm a little late." said Kari coming through the door.   
"Young lady you are thirty minutes late!" shouted Kari's Mum.
"Sorry one of my friends had an accident."
"Well Kari you should call next time you will be late."
"Sorry Mum. I was too busy with helping my friend. Calling you didn't cross my mind at that time."
"That doesn't sound like you Kari." said Tai standing up from his empty plate.
"Sorry Mum. I don't feel too well. I'm going to bed."
"She did look a little pale."
"Don't worry Mum, she'll be fine."
A few hours had pasted and Tai entered the bedroom. Kari was in her bed fast asleep, Tai sat beside her.
"Kari what happened to you out there?" Tai had phoned T.K previously but his grandmother said he had gone to bed saying he wasn't feeling very well. He knew something wasn't right. Something had happened to the team and Tai wanted to know what was going on. But he knew that he wasn't going to get anything from Kari now. Tai stood up and opened the bedroom door.
"Tai.."
"Kari?"
"Davis was the one that was injured."
"So you were awake. What happened?"
"Leomon came and attacked us he grabbed Davis and dark energy started to come from Lemon and into Davis. But his digivice stopped it. Can you keep hold of your just in case?"
"Sure it's in the front room. I'll wear it when I go out tomorrow ok?"
"Yeah sure."
Then there was a loud bang from the kitchen.
"Mum?" Tai called out.
But there was no reply. Just a dead silence that filled both Tai and Kari's ears.
"I'll check it out. You get some rest Kari, it's probably Mum dropping plates again."
Kari put her head down to her pillow. She looked down to Gatomon who was still asleep even from the loud bang that had just occurred.
"And cats are supposed to have superior hearing." sniggered Kari.
AS Kari was about to close her eyes, fear engulfed them.
"Mum! Wake up!" Kari heard Tai shout to someone else. "What did you do to her Lemon?"
Kari leapt from her bed waking Gatomon in the process. She opened the bedroom door and she froze. How could Leomon be in the house? Gatomon leapt from her place straight to the side of Agumon who was on the floor next to Tai.
"My master will not wait much longer." shouted Leomon.
Leomon disappeared into the darkness of the room.
"Agumon wake up!"
Kari started to move from her frozen state.
"Dark pulse!"
"Gatomon!" they both shouted.
"Let go of me!" shouted Tai.
"Tai no!" Kari shouted. She looked over to where Tai said his digivice was. It was still there!
"The master's dark power will engulf you!" Shouted Leomon.
"No!"
